I had the foresight to set the coffee maker from the night before. (All hail the elixir of life...caffiene!!) To deal with what was coming I had to infuse with blessed coffee. They attacked each gift like predators in the wild taking down their prey. I watched them destroy all my hard work wrapping each gift with upmost care but there was a big smile on my face. Why? because thier squeals of pleasure and hearing "Mom this is the best Christmas ever!" was gift enough for me to do it again and again for years to come until they are adults.. Even then I just might try to recreate Chirstmas morning for my babies. They might be the children of the corn, but bless them I love all down to every last strand of hair on their heads :)
I have attached a few pics of our morning festivities for you to see. Ok please be fore warned that Dahlia did not get up to put on her face before the pic was taken so..Please be gentle. LOL and do not go screaming into the night...
Merry Christmas my groovy guys and dolls...
I hope each and every one of you had as much fun as I did..if not next year you are welcome to join in our festivities The more the merrier.

Well Ms Luna!
Santa brought me a new hot pink bathrobe..I instantly thought of you when I got it..LOL..I got an Ipod docking station (do not know if that is the exact name). But it plays my ipod as it charges and cd's as well. An assortment of bath and body works goodies, a diamond circle necklace and yes an appletini drink set with appletini mix and a shaker..My kids bought me a blouse which I could actually wear...It was alot better than last years gift which was a frying pan clock..LOL..
Robert...errrr Santa was very good to me this year :)
Thanks for reading my blog to all of you and Happy new year!!
Dahlia
It looks like a wonderfully fun Christmas at your house! What lucky children you have! And how lucky you are to have them as well.

Hi Dahlia, beautiful kids! Sounds like yall had fun. I know the challenges of teens. I was shopping for my 17 year old neice. I always ask her mother cause I have no clue with teenage girls. A frying pan clock???
LOL..yes Seriously Yvette..Last year I got a frying pan clock for the kitchen... its a clock shaped like a frying pan and it the middle a picture of sizzling bacon and eggs while the hands of the clock ticks away..I was thinking to myself why did they buy this for me? Do I need to start making more breakfast? Is this a hint? LOL this year was much better. They are sweet. each year they save thier loose change, al their nickles dimes and pennies and then they pool it to buy mom a gift and candy for themselves. They came up with 89 dollars this year when we took it to the coin star machine..I was impressed with their tenacity.
