A Day with Destiny Blaine!!

Sexy cats and kittens...I have another great author interview for you. This week is my girl Destiny Blaine!!... She is so much fun to interview (laugh)... here is what she had to say and Matthew Maconaughy, watch out!! LOL...You'll see what I mean..So read on!!

1. Dahlia: Hi Destiny! You are in my interview chair today thanks! Can you give us a little background on your writing career?

Destiny: Hi Dahlia! Thank you so much for having me today! I’ve been writing for so long that if I’m not careful, I’ll reveal my age! Still, I really didn’t start writing for my only income until 2005. In the fall of ’05, I started writing as a ghost writer and found my way into non-fiction. I am the author of four non-fiction books, one which was released at the end of 2006 and three more due out before March of this year. The titles are under my other name. I also have several things out as a “ghost”. I finally found my way to erotica romance this past fall and Mardi Gras Publishing published my first erotica fiction story, Murder by Numbers.

2: Dahlia: What do you hope readers will take away from your books when they read them?

Destiny: I’d like for readers to have some element of surprise when they read my erotica-suspense stories. Of course, I’d like for the reader to like what I write enough to recommend the story to their friends!

3: Dahlia: Tell us about the book/books you have out now and where they can be found?

Destiny: Everything I have out in this genre is a Mardi Gras Publishing title. They have all three of my upcoming series: The Seductive Mistress Series, The Tellers: Triangles of Deception, and The Truth Chronicles all of which will have varying story lengths. Currently, Becoming a Mistress, Murder By Numbers, and A Christmas to Remember can be found at their website (www.mardigraspublishing.com)

4: Dahlia: Your book “Becoming a Mistress” was very sexy and appealing. Is this going to be a series and was it hard to write?

Destiny: Thank you so much! Yes, it is in a series (Seductive Mistress).
Becoming a Mistress was very easy to write. Labeled a Mistress, the second one in The Seductive Mistress Series was very difficult to write. I don’t know why exactly but it was. The third one, and in my opinion the best one so far, Betrayal of a Mistress was the easiest to write and as I said, I think it is the best in the series so far!

5: Dahlia: Valentines Day is around the corner. Do you have a favorite or worst memory of the day?

Destiny: When I think about Valentine’s Day, I think about how spoiled I felt on Valentine’s Day when I was growing up. My mother wanted us to feel like we were very special people on Valentine’s Day. She always made heart-shaped pancakes and had little gifts for us to open at breakfast. After dinner, we had heart shaped cookies and a box of those sweet-tart type heart shaped candies. While it seems silly, I just remember how she made such a big deal out of Valentine’s Day and today, I do the same for my children. I think kids remember these days more than adults unless of course, you marry on Valentine’s Day (smile)!

6: Dahlia: Is there any genre you would want to write or currently trying your hand at?

Destiny: Honestly? Right now? No. I want to get away from a lot of the ghost writing I’m doing right now and just write erotica romance, erotica mainstream fiction and a couple of more non-fiction books. That’s what I’d like to do for the next few years. I have two non-fiction projects that are close to my heart. One is a gambling project and the other is based on a true story that I may even use for the plot of a fiction series later on.

7: Dahlia: If there was one place in the world you could visit where would it be and why?

Destiny: Barbados. I saw your pictures and fell in love with the place. If I received an advance on a book right now that could take me there, I’d leave tomorrow with my family. It is gorgeous and I must visit there someday.

8: Dahlia: What is your inspiration for books Summer Neighbors? Can you tell us more about it and when will it be released?

Destiny: I don’t have a release date yet for Summer Neighbors but I am very excited about it. The setting is in Rogersville, Tennessee and on a quiet area of Cherokee Lake. The actual setting of the story is only about an hour from my home. A friend of mine owns this lake cabin that isn’t all that fancy but the setting is just gorgeous. Recently, I stopped by there after a really long day and as I stood there talking to my friend, I couldn’t focus on the conversation for the beauty of the setting.

It’s a place I would love to go sometime and just sit by myself and breathe the fresh country air. I think because I could picture the setting in my mind, it was easier to describe the scenes in the story. The lake and the area definitely inspired me to write the story.

Summer Neighbors is a novella about love before “love at first sight” but I can’t give away the story line yet because I don’t want to spoil it! The couple in Summer Neighbors will
face their share of trials and tribulations coupled with a huge scandal and devastating secrets.

9: Dahlia: Tell us about your down time. When Destiny Blaine is not writing what is she doing?.

Destiny: Right now, I don’t have down time at all. That is going to change soon though! I do have children and both of them play on traveling sport teams so when I’m not writing, I’m typically at a ballgame or a practice for one sport or another! Even then, my laptop goes with me!

I do gamble some. I grew up in a family of sports bettors so I guess it’s in my blood. We also had horses when I was younger and I never could leave the track alone. Now, there’s a simulcasting place close to my home so I can bet on horses when I get the urge. I don’t gamble like I used to and that’s a blessing! I spent the last year writing on a lot of gambling related topics and really did burn out on it. In fact, recently I was in a casino town on a writing project and found I shopped more than anything. The money I would have thrown on a craps table went for new clothes. So, I’ve come to the conclusion, the more you write about something, the more you burn out on it. Oops! That’s not a good sign for my husband given my choice of writing now! (laughs)

10: Dahlia: So Destiny tell us what are some of your favorite things in life? Foods, colors etc

Destiny: Dahlia, I like too many foods so I won’t even go there! Purple and red are my favorite colors. I’m a reader and love to collect old books. Oh yes, and I love music! I’ve been told I am vocally challenged but it’s only because my family seems threatened by my extraordinary voice they claim has an undeniable southern twang! (laughs) My favorite musician is James Blunt with Wise Men being my favorite song.

11: Dahlia: I like to ask this question. (smile). Destiny which book of yours would you like to see turned into a movie and who would play your characters?

Destiny: (smile) Wow! From short stories to the big screen! I like the way you think! Probably The Tellers: Triangles of Deception beginning with A Christmas to Remember. I’d want Brett Favre to leave the NFL behind and become my NFL character (Corby) and I’d want Jennifer Anniston to play the main character of Cassie. Steve would have to be played by Matthew McConaughy because there isn’t a sexier man alive! (and I tell my hubby this so it isn’t a big secret!)

12: Dahlia: Can you tell everyone about your websites, where they can find out more about you and what we will be seeing from you in 2007.

Dahlia: My loop on Yahoo is where I am on a daily basis unless it’s a Saturday or Sunday and we have ballgames! It’s http://groups.yahoo.com/group/destinyblaine_romance/
And my website is http://www.destinyblaine.com. In 2007, my goal is to have at least three titles in each series completed and with some measure of luck, released before the end of the year! Also, I hope to finish my futuristic romance novel Raven which has become my “pet project”. It’s one of those you hate to let go and who knows, I may not finish it until someone comes along and tells me they want it. Then, I might let it go. It’s just one of those I’ve poured my whole heart into and I guess I’ve had a hard time letting it go!

13: Dahlia: If you could have one hot guy for a day to do your bidding who would it be and what will they be doing?

Destiny: Dahlia, Matthew McConaughy would never make an appearance again on the big screen! Hands down, Matthew McConaughy! Move over Penelope because here comes Matthew’s Destiny!!!! (fanning my face just thinking about him)

14: Dahlia: What are you goals for your writing career?

Destiny:My goals are to keep writing in this genre and to keep growing a readership base. I hope I can continue to have fun writing because I’ve had so much fun with my writing career. I’ve been very fortunate to meet great people along the way and I hope to continue making friends from around the world.
I am doing what I love and I just want to keep doing it!

15: Dahlia: You have been receiving great reviews for your books. Tell us how does that make you feel especially when you saw your first review?

Destiny: Oh my goodness. If you’ll look at my Yahoo group, you’ll laugh. I always say too much about a good review. The truth is, I’m impossible to deal with at home. I typically read it to my husband and I’ll ask what he thinks about it. Then, I’ll read it again and tell him I can’t believe it. Then, I’ll tease him and tell him I’m almost famous (laugh). He quickly reminds me of what my son told me when my first non-fiction book came out.

He said, “You know Mom, if you ever do become famous, we won’t know it because we live with you. So, really, you’ll never feel famous. I’m sorry about your luck.”

My son always makes me laugh. Of course, fame isn’t what I want—I want what every mother wants, time. If I have time with my family, then I’ll feel like my work is finally paying off and if I meet great friends along the way, I’ll feel like I’ve received a just reward for doing what I already love to do anyway!

Ok Guys and Dolls!
Destiny Blaine and her books that are filled with suspense are out there, so pick up a copy. Becoming a Mistress made me want and go out and work in an office so I can jump my boss’s bones… (Smile There is much more to come from this author so watch out Destiny is coming!!
See ya all next week!
Dahlia Rose

Thank you for having me!
Destiny Blaine

Apparition Part 6..Finally!!

Hey my sexy cats and kittens. Here is a new installment of *Apparition*. After my hell with the file i called geeks on call and they found it for me..I love those guys!!..So read and enjoy the newest Part of the story.... Smooches

Night turn into day in New York and Jared slowly woke up to see Josephine looking at him intently.
“You know looking at me while I sleep is a little creepy.” He said sitting up.
“And lying in bed with a spirit isn’t? She countered.
Jared grinned. “Good point.”
After their dance last night Jared and Josephine talked until the wee hours of the morning. He knew he would have more in common with a woman who could walk through walls, than with women he dated in the past. They both shared a love of books and great music, jazz particularly. Josephine told him about her love of Etta James songs and when she sang a few bars of her music. He found out that she had a vice that could melt a man when she sang smooth husky and sensual. Today she would go with him to the shelter and they would start looking for more information on where her body could be.
“Are you going to tell me why you were staring at me?” he asked.
“I was wondering what will happen if you and Max can’t find my body. I will be like a ghost trapped forever until my body dies.” Josephine replied softly. “I’ll have to go back to the park and just wait until I can move on.
“That’s not going to happen we are going to find you and if the worst happen you are going to stay here with me.” Jared said firmly.
“I couldn’t do that Jared, you have a life to lead. You will get married and have children. Imagine having to explain to a girlfriend slash perspective wife “Hey honey this is my ghost she lives with me.”
“Funny girl,” Jared said with a smile. “How about this, before we make any decisions we try to find you first?’
“Ok, we’ll do that,” she said with a small smile.
The phone rang and Jared rolled and grabbed it from the bedside table and said hello. It was Max on the other line.
“Hey Max what’s up?”
“Trouble man, the kids you sent here a few weeks ago. The father found them last night. He kicked out the night counselor and beat up the kid pretty badly and took the girl.”
“Shit! I’m on my way anyone called the police?” Jared asked he rolled out of bed and pulled clothes out quickly to get dressed.
“Yup, but they said expect it at a shelter for runaways, you know how they are. The kid John told them his father sexually abuses his sister Jenny that why they ran away. After that they were ready to look. The night counselor is fine, but John is in the hospital. He gave me an address of where his dad likes to hole up.”
Jared listened intently to what Max was saying his face had turned to stone when he heard of the father mistreatment of his daughter. No child should be used that way. “Gimme the address and I’ll meet you over there.” Jared wrote quickly and hung up.
“What’s going on Jared?
He explained to her what had happened as he pulled on his sock and then a pair of beat up sneakers.
“Let me come with you? Josephine said
“No it could be dangerous.” He replied looking for his keys and snatching them up.
“Jared, I’m a spirit, but thanks for caring. It’s more dangerous for you, if you go in and he is armed you could get hurt, or Max or the girl. Remember I can walk through walls.”
He looked at her contemplating and said “Come on.”
“I’ll be downstairs.” Josephine disappeared and Jared went out the door shaking his head. He would never get used to her doing that. Appearing and disappearing at will, hopefully they could find her and he would not have to.
He hailed a cab and was heading to the address that Max gave him a few minutes later. The cab driver looked at him as he sat in the back seat carrying on a conversation. with what seemed to be himself. The cab driver shook his head sadly New Yorkers were crazy.
The ride seemed to take forever to Jared. From the east side to Hells Kitchen took forever especially in morning traffic. Finally the yellow cab pulled up in front of a building Jared would call squalor and filth. The city leaders never wanted to see this part of New York where people lived in places that were beyond poor and children grew up laying next to drug dealers. Max got there soon after, he leaned over and pad his cab and stood next to Jared.
“Hey man,” he greeted Jared. “So how do we do this, go in blazing?”
“No we send in a little bird to have a peek.”
“What bird? What are you….”
“Hey Max.” Josephine said next to his ear.
Max jumped and whirled around. “Jesus! You have to stop doing that. So we are sending her in to see where he is holding Jenny?”
“Yes, she can get in without being seen, if he sees us coming he might hurt her.” Jared explained.
“Ok guys I’m going to go see, stay outside the apartment until you hear me call for you.” Josephine said.
Both Jared and Max nodded and started up the steps of the dilapidated building and Josephine faded from view.
“That ‘s amazing how she does that.” Max commented.
“Yes it is.” Jared agreed.
The building smelled of old urine and rotten garbage. The hallway lights flickered on and off. Other than that lowly light the hallway was dim, peeling paint on the walls and the doors of the apartments looked rotted and broken. They went up the stairs to apartment number two B and waited outside for Josephine voice.
***
Josephine was already in the room and she looked around. Cockroaches crawled around the little apartment. The sofa was filled with cigarette burns and on it laid a foul looking man. His clothes were dirty and his snores filled the air. On the old coffee table in him sat a spoon and lighter, probably the remnants of his last fix. Still invisible she crossed over to the door way that led to what she only could assume was the bedroom. There on a saggy old bed pushed into a corner laid a small girl covered in a blanket. Her body shook as she tried to conceal her sobs. She was curled into a tight ball beneath the thin blanket. Josephine felt her heart break for this little girl and then such rage at the man that did this to her. He took this little girls child hood and shattered it.
“Jenny,” Josephine whispered.
The little girl sat straight up in the bed, reveal that she swore just a little thin dress in a tiny body. “Whose there?...The voice was small and barely a whisper her dark eyes darted around the room.
Josephine made sure she was sitting on the bed in front of the child before she appeared. “Hi Jenny,” she said with a gentle smile.
“Oh gosh, how did you do that? Are you an angel?” Jenny asked. She heard a sound as her father moved in the other room and her eyes darted to the door.
“You don’t have to be afraid anymore Jenny, I’m here to help you.” She caressed the little girls head. The energy that came from her made the little girls hair stand on edge.
“I knew God would send me an angel, that what you are right!” She whispered excitedly.
“I’m kinda like that, I’m here with a few friends and we’ve come to take you to your brother.”
“Where are your friends?” Jenny asked looking around. “Are they invisible to?”
“No they are outside waiting for me to call them.”
“Who the hell are you!” A voice thundered from at the door.
Jenny scrambled back in to the corner in fear and Josephine stood to face the big man. “I’m here to take Jenny.”
“Bitch I’d like to see you try, I’ll treat you the same way I treat her.” The little girl’s father lumbered forward and tried to grab Josephine who faded from his eyes.
She reappeared behind him, the wind picked up blowing her hair as she spoke her voice had become bold and loud. The wind crackled with the energy she created and her eyes glowed in anger. “You will not touch her! How dare you treat your child like this! You will never get to do this to anyone again!”. Josephine looked at him and he could not break way his gaze from her glowing eyes. His screams began and he still could not stop looking at her.
Jared and Max heard her voice from behind the thin door and looked at each other. With no hesitation Jared kicked it in shattering the flimsy door frame into splinters. The two men rushed in to see Josephine standing in the doorway completely aglow. They could see the energy whip around her and heard the screams of a man in the room.
“Josephine!” Jared yell and her head whipped around to face him.
It was like she was coming out of a trance, she shook her head and her vision cleared. “Jared? What happened?
“Uh you tell me, what was all that about?” Jared asked waving his hands around.
“I don’t know, it has never happened before, he rushed at me and I wanted him to pay for what he did to this little girl and this happened.” Josephine replied. What had happened she thought to herself. One minute she was comforting Jenny the next she was in the mist of an energy storm.
Jared and Max walked over to the doorway and saw the man lying on the floor curled into the fetal position and whimpering. They both looked at Josephine with questions in there eyes but said nothing. Max walked over to Jenny slowly. She remembered him from the shelter and flew into his arms.
“Come on little girl let’s get you back to your brother.” Max said softly cradling the little girl.
Jenny looked over her shoulder as Max passed and asked. “She is an angel isn’t she? What’s her name?
“Max replied to the girl with a smile. “She’s something and her name is Josephine. But you can’t tell anyone she was here ok sweet pea?”
Jenny nodded solemnly. Jared and Josephine trailed behind Max carrying the little girl.
“We are going to have to talk about what happened in there with her father you know.” Jared said softly.
“We will as soon as I figure it out myself.” Josephine was scared, she felt so much power when she was in the mist of the energy she created. There was something else to but she could not tell Jared not yet. All she wanted was to be alone for awhile to try to understand what was happening to her.
“Talk to me Josephine.” He said simply
For some reason She felt trapped all of a sudden and she looked at Jared with an apology in her eyes. “I-I have to go Jared, I can’t talk now, I just have to go for a while”
Before he could respond she disappeared.
Outside the building Max still held little Jenny in his arms. I called the police and an ambulance. Where did she go?” He asked looking around.
“I don’t know but something is up with her” Jared murmured.
“Did you see him on the floor? What did she do to him?” Max asked.
“That another thing we need to find out.”
While the two men contemplated what happened when they were not in the room. Josephine went back to the place she called sanctuary, the park she roamed day and night. For now their all their question would have to wait….

Interview with Crymsyn R Hart

Good Morning, My lovely Bloggers....
This is Dahlia Rose with another wonderful author interview. This week is the vamptrees herself Crymsyn R Hart. Crymsyn has built a world of ampires and lost sould in her books and every page leaves you with the urge to become a vampire yourself.
Here is what Ms Hart had to say....

Interview Questions

Dahlia: Hi Crymsyn, thanks for stopping in today!! Your pen name is Crymsyn R Hart. What helped you pick such a great pen name?

Hi Dahlia. It’s great to be here today. Thanks for the invite. Well I used to write under the name Raven Hart, but since there was another author with the same pen name, I decided it would be better to not have people confuse the two of us. But I couldn’t get rid of the Raven so I kept the R. I added the Crymsyn because it was different and I thought it went great with my last name.

Dahlia: Tell us about the book/books you have out now and where they can be found.

My first novel is called Immortal Desires. It is a heart pounding erotic vampire novel where past love and lives come together to reveal a destiny like no other. They can be found at http://www.stardustpress.com

Dahlia: God and Goblins is your newest book up for release. I love the name can you tell us more about it. Will this be a series? When will it debut?

Gods and Goblins, oh my! is about a regular witch, Kalliope, whose rituals all of a sudden start blowing up in her face. Due to the magickal mishaps, she summons a naked sun god, Lugh, that shows up naked in her bed. To top it all off, a Celtic Death God has come to collect his claim on her to make her his sex slave. While trying to juggle a luscious naked god that treats her like a goddess, she encounters the god’s ex-lover who tries to turn the witch into a bush. Instead, the goddess turns Lugh into the bush. Kalliope is then taken prisoner and while imprisoned is given three magickal apples that makes her the most magickal being the world has seen since Morrigain Le Fey. While trying to avoid her growing lust, figure out her new powers, and avoid becoming an eternal sex slave to a death God, Kalliope has to deal with Lugh’s crazy ex and wonderful naked gods. Oh my!

Gods and Goblins, oh my! is the first in a series, but I don’t know how many there will be at the moment. I’m currently working on the sequel which is called Gods and Frogs, oh my!
Gods and Goblins will be out in late February.

Dahlia: Valentines Day is around the corner. Do you have a favorite memory of the day?

When it comes to Valentine’s Day, it’s not something my husband and I really celebrate. We give each other small gifts, but nothing too big. So I don’t really have a favorite memory of the day. Honestly, I think of the purity of the day has been forgotten and it has been commercialized way to much.

Dahlia: I know you have a love of the paranormal and vampires. What makes these things so special to you?

I’ve always loved the supernatural as far back as I can remember. The first horror movie I saw I was four and it was Poltergeist. The first vampire movie I saw when I remember was The Lost Boys when I was eight and I think I fell in love with Keifer Sutherland. I’ve always been fascinated by ghost stories and the darker side of life. Of course if you asked me, do I believe in the paranormal. The answer is yup. I’ve seen some things first hand. I figured out I was psychic when I was fifteen so it just added to the interesting side of why the paranormal mean so much to me.

Dahlia: Do you have a contest going on right now that you want us to know about?

I have a contest that is running until the end of the month on my site. www.ravynhart.com. Those that join my yahoo group are entered into a drawing to win a copy of Immortal Desires. In Feb., I will be running another contest so you will have to stay tuned to see what goodies will be available.

Dahlia: What is your inspiration for books like Immortal Desires?

My inspiration for Immortal Desires was that many of the characters were based on many of my friends. I like to write about vampires because I love the whole idea of tortured souls and fighting the bloodlust. But I see different kind of vampires everywhere. Ones that are dark and sexy and others that are willing to lose their souls for the ones that they love. But Immortal Desires is also based on my main character being a psychic vampire. Inspiration also comes from events in my life as well as modern day theories on vampires.

Dahlia: Tell us about your down time. When Crymsyn R. Hart is not writing what is she doing?

When I’m not writing (smile). That is funny. I always seem to be writing. But when I’m not I’m reading, crocheting, doing puzzles, watching horror movies, spending time with my friends, my husband, and my small zoo. I collect Living Dead Dolls because I think their great and I’m a Goth girl at heart.

Dahlia: So Crymsyn what are some of your favorite things in life? Foods, colors etc

Some of my favorite things…well let’s see.(humming song from Sound of Music. I think I’ve seen the movie too many times.) My favorite color is black and red, but I’m also a Scorpio so that goes without saying. I like to go ghost hunting in cemeteries and taking pictures of the stones as I see art in the stone. I love to cook, but don’t get enough time too. I love Cheesecake. It could be almighty if I had my way of it. I like gothic artwork, dark fairies and dark unicorns. I like anything that goes bump in the night and things that lurk in the shadows. They might be scary to some, but I like to be frightened.

Dahlia: I like to ask this question. (smile). The Hollywood big wigs loved one of your books and wanted to make it into a movie. Which book would you like to see on the big screen and what superstars would you have play your characters?

I think it would be great to see Immortal Desires on the big screen. Who doesn’t love a good vampire movie? I would have to say Angelina Jolie because who would not want to see fangs on her. Ohh baby! For the hero well…I would like to see Heath Ledger. I couldn’t say who would make a good villain though. There are so many luscious hunks out there.

Dahlia: Can you tell everyone about your websites, where they can find out more about you and what we will be seeing from you in 2007.

My website is www.ravynhart.com. I have tons of free stories and erotica listed to tantalize anyone who dares read it. There is also a little bit of my background. I have a yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Crymsyn_Hart/ . And a Myspace page @ www.myspace.com/ravynhart.

Besides Gods and Goblins, oh my!, coming out in late Feb. I have a trilogy contracted with Stardust. The three books in the series are called Masquerade, Soul Reaper, and Angelic Cravings. In them we discover the journey of a mortal turned vampire that has to learn about her new existence while trying to discover where her destiny lies with the Angel of Death.

Dahlia: If you could have one hot guy for a day to do your bidding who would it be and what will they be doing?

Hmmm what could I not do with him that wouldn’t upset my husband. (Grin). I would have him give me a full body massage. Cook me dinner, go for another massage. To actually pick who it is. Well honestly I would have to say Johnny Depp. I gotta hankering for him. But mostly I would like to talk to him just to get to know him. The whole star struck thing doesn’t phase me. I think it’s important to get to know people than have other people or the media tell us about them.

Ok Guys and Dolls!
This is the Vamptress Crymsyn R. Hart. With a wicked sense of humor and a love for the unknown she takes us into sorcery, witches and past lives. Check out her website and her books and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I have met her in person and trust me there is much more to come from such a fabulous imagination.
Ta For now and see you next week!

Regan Taylor Interview

Hello my lovely readers...Today we have an interview with none other than Regan Taylor...If you have ever read her books. (like I have) you know that Regan weaves her dreams into wonderful worlds that we can visit in the pages of her books. here is what she had to say.....

1.Kelly: Hi Regan!! Thanks for sitting in my cyber interview chair today. Tell us how you got started writing romance/
I got my start when I was doing an interview package with Jewel Adams. She was getting ready to start a kick butt week on her list and she invited me on and to join in. I figured it wouldn’t hurt so I started what is now Spell Across Time; The Pentacle. She was very encouraging and one thing led to another.

2.Kelly: What is the muse for such wonderful books like Miranda’s Heart? Is there any kind of routine that helps you get into the mood for writing
Actually, I dream most of my books. I know it sounds weird, but I’ll dream a scene just before I wake up, and then I just write it. As you can imagine, I have a couple of really steamy dreams now and again!

The only book that I didn’t dream out was The True Story of the Wicked Witch which is out with Whiskey Creek Press Torrid (www.whiskeycreekpresstorrid.com). Those are my real life cats on the cover by the way!

The Crystal Ball, Book 2 in the Spell Series has elements that I haven’t dreamed which is pretty different for me after dreaming 5 books. If I hit a block for some reason I go for a walk with either a Celine Dion or Melissa Etheridge CD and it resolves itself. Mostly though they just seem to come through in dreams.

3.Kelly: I have read the blurb for Indentured Bride. I loved it! When will we be seeing its debut?
I’m not sure! I’m looking for a publisher for it as well as the rest of the Bride series. The first three are westerns and I know that’s a niche audience. So I’m looking for a really solid publisher where a western will do well. Book 4 in the series is a time travel and books 5 and 6 take place in the present.

The interesting thing for me because when I read a series I HAVE to read each book in order. Even if they are stand alone books, I HAVE to read them in order. So when I finished book one of the Bride series (Indentured Bride) I was starting to work on Book 2 which is Kendrick’s story and BAM! Rick, who wasn’t going to even have a story, it was going to be a trilogy, not a ….what do you call a six book series, a sixology? Anyway, it was just going to be the Parker brothers and their brides and suddenly Rick, the Sheriff wanted a story. That led to Traveling Bride, which is actually book 4. Imagine how that confused Ms. Gotta-read-in-order me!

The Bride Series does have it’s own blog which is: http://brideseries.blogspot.com. It’s been neglected lately because of the change in publishers and getting ready for Spell Across Time: The Pentacle’s release on February 1, 2007.

4.Kelly: Valentines Day is coming up Regan. What is your best memory of the day of love?
February 1992 – I was engaged to one guy, falling for another and it was the one I was falling for her called me. A year later he told me for the first time he loved me. I can still remember how he said it, he said, “You know, I may not say it, but I really do love you.”

5.Kelly: I know you have a book coming out on February 1st. Tell us about it.

That would be Spell Across Time: The Pentacle. On the surface it is a story of a sicko stalker pursuing this woman. He does all kinds of nasty things like sending dead roses and creepy dolls. But then he escalates and puts a bomb on her car. About the same time she starts having strange dreams. There is one man out there who loves her, truly loves her….the question is will she realize who it is before she’s killed?

My publisher, Whiskey Creek Press (www.Whiskeycreek.com) set it for release in February because, as she put it, “it is a love story that transcends time.”

I’m running a contest for the release on the Spell Series Blog at: http://spellacrosstimethepentacle.blogspot.com – easy – ask one of the characters a question and your name will be entered in the drawing to win an autographed copy of The Pentacle.

6.Kelly: On your site you offer reviewing, editing and critique help for new and upcoming authors. This I a great service for anyone who is seriously taking up writing. Can you tell us more about this and where you can be contacted?

At Regan@regantaylor.com! I also work with Angie and author Skylar Sinclair at www.writingchallenge.net where every few months or so we do a one week writing challenge where authors or people who want to try their hand at it commit to write 1,000 words a day for 7 days. At the end, one of our staff does a critique for one of the people who participated.

7.Kelly: Tell us about your down time. When you are not writing what will we find Regan Taylor doing? Do you have a favorite food that helps relax you.
LOL, writing IS my down time. I work a 40 hour a week day job that has tons of drama in it. I have an 18-1/2 year old kitty who gets sub-q fluids every night when I get home. Recently my 17 year old kitty who was very ill an on a “cocktail” for cancer, kidney disease and thyroid disease crossed the rainbow bridge. Before she passed it took about a half hour each night to see that her needs were met. Of course there is also not-so-little Mel and he needs attention to. When I got him he was “Little Mel”. There’s a reason we call him not-so-little Mel now. You can meet them all on my website at www.Regantaylor.com Below their info is a link you can click that provides food for orphaned and needy animals. All you have to do is click. I go every day.

So for me, writing is my escape, my downtime.

8.Kelly: What would be the favorite erogenous zone on a man Regan and is there a Mr. Regan Taylor behind the scenes?
A nice, solid, grabbable butt!

Not a Mr. Regan Taylor per se, but the guy from 1992---well we actually met at a 4th of July welcome home parade in 1991. I knew the moment I laid eyes on him that he was the man I’d be spending the rest of my life with. He was a Marine at the time and a friend of mine was a reporter for the local paper and she was sent to cover the welcome home parade for Desert Storm vets in our county. She was drooling, oh wait! Excuse me, admiring a guy in Navy whites and I told her that yeah, they were nice, but there was nothing like a Marine in his dress blues. Little did I know Bun-boy (yes, that’s his nickname) was in hearing distance of what I said. We live in different cities, but it works for us. Quality not quantity.

But…he DOES have a positive influence on some of those love scenes!

9.Kelly: I like to ask this question. (smile). They Hollywood big wigs loved one of your books and wanted to make it into a movie. Which book would you like to see on the big screen and what superstars would you have play your characters?

Actually, I am hoping a certain female producer/actress is going to option the Spell Series. She IS Kelly McKenna. Look at Sandra Bullock and you have Kelly, Matthew McConaughey and Keanu Reeves is Definitely Adrian. I’ve had a few people say to go for it now because the Pentacle is ready to go, but I want to see how the sales go and have the Crystal Ball ready to roll at the same time.

10.Kelly: Is there anything you want your readers to know about you that cannot be found on your website?

No, anything that’s public is there.

11 Kelly: Finally Regan tell the readers where they can find you chatting or any upcoming events for 2007/

I’m actually kind of shy and very reclusive. I tend to avoid chats and author days…I know, not good for promotions and such, which annoys one of my publishers no end!
Between the day job, the relationship, the furfaced kids, reviewing, editing and writing I don’t seem to have much social time but that’s okay. I do get together with the BBBBB’s every month and we have a great time. You DO see the BBBBB’s in some of my books—they like being characters.

Thanks for having me! Great questions—you made me think!

Ok Guys and Dolls!
That was the interview with the fun and vivacious Regan Taylor! Definitely go and check out her contest and read her books. Each word will capture your imagination and keep you wanting more. Caution! Do not read while operating heavy machinery or when you boss is close by! There will be nothing that can pull you away from the story Regan weaves.
See you all next week! Smooches!

Apparition Part 5

Ok Guys and Dolls Last week I mislabeled Apattrion as part 3. it was actually part 4. Forgive my litte boo boo. So here it is Apparition Part 5. Enjoy!

After sitting down to breakfast with his best friend and an apparition Max left for the shelter. He was still reeling from seeing Josephine, an actual ghost. They could not call her that now hr assumed. If she was really lost from her body, she was not really dead. Over breakfast they had discussed what the best course of action to take to find her body would be. This was New York after all, they were hundreds of hospitals across the tri- state area alone. That did not include long term care facilities, hospices and what if she was at home and some one was taking care of here there? It was a staggering reality to how big their task was. Jared and Max decided to start the search in Manhattan. If they did not find her they would work over to Brooklyn then Queens and so forth. Hopefully they would find her in one of these boroughs. Then they was the matter of getting her back into the body. No one knew how it would work so Max volunteered to do research on that. He had gone from not only a counselor at a shelter but now to a paranormal phenomenon researcher. Max shook his head and he left the building. Life in New York, when you think nothing else will surprise you, you get surprised he thought. He was soon swallowed up by the throngs of New Yorkers as he walked down the block to hail a cab.
Upstairs in Jared’s apartment Josephine paced excitedly. Well she glided more than walked Jared thought at he watched her.
“I had resigned myself to being dead now I may not be dead. Oh gosh I hope I am not dead. I can eat and walk in the park and feel the grass again. Oh! I can go to coffee shops and book stores and shopping. I miss shopping! I can dance again. I loved to dance did I mention that?” Josephine twirled as she spoke.
Jared listened to her go on and one with a small smile on his face. When she twirled, his breath caught, she looked like one a glass ballerina from a music box. “I didn’t know you danced?”
She stopped and looked at him. ‘I didn’t know that either until a moment ago. Things are coming back to me in little bits and pieces.”
“What else do you remember?” Jared said. “Do you know where you lived or where you family lived? That could help us find you quickly. It could give us a place to start.”
“I don’t remember exactly, it hurts when I try to. But when I get the flashed it’s like a light bulb going off in my head.”
“Ok let’s try this, Come over here and sit down” Jared suggested.
Josephine walked over and sat next to Jared on the couch. She looked at him shyly. “Ok I am sitting now what do you want me to do.”
A sliver of excitement ran through Jared with her words but he pushed it aside quickly. “Lean our head back against the cushions and close your eyes. Relax and breathe. Pretend that you are in Central Park in the grass and the sun is on your face. You can smell cotton candy and hear the carousel.”
His voice was gentle as he spoke to her. Josephine could feel the gravelly timber of his voice relaxing her as he spoke to her.
“Now I need you to think back for me Josephine. Not to any specific place, let your mind wander.” Jared continued to talk. He looked and saw he had covered her hand with his own. He wished he could feel her skin. ‘Tell me what you see Josephine?”
“I see a dark street, there is only one street light burning and I am walking…” Josephine made a sound of distress in her throat. She didn’t want to see what was going to happen but Jared voice soother her and she continued. “I am looking for my keys in my purse, I have one of the over sized purses and I can’t find them. I stop to dig inside and some…someone knocks me down from behind. I try to scream but he cover’s my mouth with his hand, his gloves smell like oil. He wants my money and I give him the bag but he drags me…me back into the alley. I start to fight him, I won’t let him, take what he wants. I scream and I fight and I bite him and he bangs my head against the cement. Its hurts so much I see lights behind my eyes. But I keep screaming and he bangs my head again. I can here someone yelling at him barely and he finally moves off me. I touch the back of my head and there’s blood so much of it on my hands and then everything fades away.” Josephine stopped talking and there is silence in the room.
Jared watched her distress as she spoke and he saw the tears trickle from her closed eye lids. He felt a fury was over him, it was all directed to the person who tried to mug and rape the defenseless girl she was two years ago. It was new information but it was not a lot to go one. The crime would have been reported yes. But if the guy ran with her purse she would have had no ID when they took her to the hospital. Unless she could remember where it happened they could not do an effective search with the police.
“Do you remember where this took place honey?” Jared asked softly.
“No…No I don’t I can’t remember! She cried out standing up. Why did that happen to me!? I gave him my purse! He hit my head so hard! Why hasn’t anyone found me!? Don’t I have family that wondered where I was!? I don’t have anyone that cares! That’s why I was alone for so long! She was sobbing uncontrollably.
Jared jumped up. “You have me Josephine!”
“No, no I don’t Jared! You are real, flesh and blood! I can’t even touch you or feel you arms around me. I can’t even feel a kiss, when I slept next to you I could not feel your skin! And I wanted to! If I never get found you’ll be real and I’ll always be a ghost!” Josephine had tears streaming down her face and her arms wrapped around her self.
Jared took a step towards her but she stepped back shaking her head in refusal. Josephine faded away from his sight and from his apartment. He could sense immediately when her presence was gone.
“Josephine!” he called out. “Josephine come back!” But she was gone lost in her own despair. Jared sat on the sofa once again and dropped his head in his hands. He didn’t know what to do right now because everything she was feeling he was as well. He was going to go find her when the evening came in and the park was empty. She was not alone and he was going to be there for her no matter what. She had him now.
Jared did not have to go and find Josephine. She came back later that evening. Jared had spent the rest of the day trying to catch up on business that he had been putting off for the last few days. It was the only thing to do to keep his mind off Josephine. He was working on the shelters finances. His father’s generous donation was divided up between the two teen shelters. It went towards bills and food. He was able to get more blankets and cots there was even enough left over to buy a new TV and video game system for each shelter. Jared made sure all of his workers were well paid and even had a few doctors that knew his family volunteer time and services. He was on the phone trying to get free prenatal care for a pregnant teen at the shelter. He had already found her and the baby a home and got there expense paid until she could work. When that happened he would find safe daycare for the baby. She wanted to be a mother and responsible Jared was going to give her and her child every opportunity. Josephine presence was announced by her usual breeze in a still room. It ruffled the papers on his desk. Jared looked around to see her standing by his window looking out towards the park. He finished up his call and hung up the phone. He slowly walked over until he stood behind her waiting until she spoke.
“I’m sorry for today.” She said softly.
“Why? You can have emotions too. This has been hell on you for the past two years.”
“I should not have taken it out on you. You are trying to help me.” Josephine explained. “I am so tired of being stuck in this limbo, let me be alive or dead but let me be something.”
“You are not dead, you hear me?” He said roughly. “I am not going to find you to just lose you like that.”
“You would be sad if you lost me?” she asked looking up at him.
“Yes I would be.” His answer was simple. “Wait one minute.”
He moved away from her and picked up a remote. Soon the apartment was filled with music. He turned the lights down low and walked back over to her.
“Dance with me?” Jared said holding out his hand to her.
Josephine nodded and placed her hand in his. She wrapped her arms around his neck. Jared could feel her in his heart and that was all he needed at that point. Her energy surrounded him as they began to move to the rhythm of the music.
Jared looked at her as they dance. “At least you don’t have feet for me to step on.” He joked.
“I wouldn’t care if you did.” She replied.
“I wish I could kiss you.” Jared said “But I don’t know how we could”
“Close your eyes and just feel me.” Josephine whispered.
Jared closed his eyes and Josephine did as well. Their lips touched as they continued to move. Jared flesh and blood, Josephine something of a dream and only there in spirit. But for a moment just for a single space in time Jared could feel her. He felt his lips tingle and it spread through out his body hitting him in a place that had not been touched in his life. Standing there dancing with what people would call a figment of the imagination. Jared fell in love with his apparition Josephine.

Interview with Ayn Amorelli

Kelly: Ayn first and foremost from a girl who loves anything paranormal. I have to ask, Why such a love of the paranormal?

Ayn: I’ve always loved mysteries, the more complex, the better.

Kelly: How long have you been writing? What is the muse for such wonderful books?

Ayn: I’ve been writing all my life, ever since I learned how to hold a pencil, and have always been curious about everything I see. To stop my continuous questions, my mother taught me how to read so I could learn the answers, myself. Then too, I was an only child, and had to play by myself at time, so I developed an active imagination. I think my curiosity and imagination and reading and love of words which came from reading from the time I was three all combined to spark the muse.

Kelly: I know your last name has a cool meaning Ayn that has a romantic twist. Care to tell us about it?

Ayn: By a stroke of good luck, I married an Italian whose last name, Amorelli, means ‘Little Lovers’ in Italian LOL, and decided it was the perfect name to use for my steamy romances.

Kelly. You write under both Ayn Amorelli and Ayn Hunt. Tell us why?

Ayn: When I first started writing books, I wanted something simple that people could remember, so I chose my maiden name, Hunt for my Gothics. Then, when I branched into writing steamy romances, I realized my married name of Amorelli would be a perfect fit for that genre.

It also prevents confusion for the readers. When people pick up a book by Ayn Hunt, they expect stories about ghosts, psychotic killers and haunted houses. But when they buy a book by Ayn Amorelli, they know they’ll be reading torrid romances containing graphic sex.

Kelly: Your writing background is amazing! What are you working on now to entice our imagination?

Ayn: I’ve just completed my fifth book, The Wayward Governess, which I’m revising for a publisher who requested it. It’s an historical romance about a young American heiress who gets stranded in London, and goes to work for an unconventional earl as a governess to his two daughters.

Kelly: Where can your readers and fans find out more about you and your books?

Ayn: At my websites, www.AuthorsDen.com/aynhunt and www.GottaWriteNetwork.com/aynamorelli.htm, where I have excerpts of my books, which can all be bought at Amazon.com, as well as Fictionwise.com and my publishers.

Kelly: I see you started to host a chat called *Hunts Corner*. Could you elaborate on that and how people can join?

Ayn: This is a brand new writers’ chat on AOL covering news writers can use, which I’m very excited about. Each week I discuss different topics for writers, such as The Dreaded Synopsis: What it is and isn’t; Tricks of the Trade: Promotion; Outlining versus the Pantzer Types of Writing; Good Second Jobs for Writers (and how to get them); Researching Techniques for Historicals, etc.

It’s not in protocol, just a loose question and answer format, where we discuss whatever anyone wants to, which pertains to the Topic.

It comes on every Sunday night at 8 p.m. CST, 9 p.m. EST, in Chapter One. To get on the mailing/reminder list, just send an email to me at AynHunt@aol.com and I’ll make sure they start get on it.

Kelly: You have been married for 34 years! I say wow to that. Are these books and your vivid writing part of what keeps Mr. Amorelli happy (smile)?

Ayn: Well, I believe in lots of research for all my books, so of course, hubby and I do a lot hands-on research for my steamy romances

Kelly: What would be the favorite erogenous zone on guys for Ayn Amorelli?

Ayn: Mercy LOL. I think I’ll pass on this question.

Kelly: I like to ask this question. (smile). They Hollywood big wigs loved one of your books and wanted to make it into a movie. Which book would you like to see on the big screen and what superstars would you have play your characters?

Ayn: That’s a hard one. For The Haunting, a good actress to play Jessica would be Nicole Kidman. And for Brent, George Clooney. For Contract Bride, a good actress to play Kayla is probably Catherine Zena Jones and for Bob, Brad Pitt.

Kelly: Ayn what would you want your readers to know most about you?

Ayn: That all my books are packed with entertainment, from the first page to the last.

13 Kelly: Finally Ayn, which would you prefer to see a guy wearing Boxer’s or briefs?

Ayn: Briefs LOL. It shows their, um, you-know-what better than Boxer’s.

Ok Guys and Dolls!
That was the woman who can make a haunting sexy, Ayn Amorelli. Read her short stories and she’ll pull you into a world that will keep you coming back. I’ll be one of those joining *Hunt’s Corner* to take advantage of what she can teach me.
Smooches Luvvies…See you all next week

Apparition..Pt 3

Ok guys the story is picking up...(smile)...Read on about the apparition Josephine and Jared....
***
Walking with an apparition. Jared shook his head and smiled, with his hands folded under his head he replayed the night’s event in his head. Walking though the park as the night’s shadows took their hold. With a woman who could bee seen only when she wanted to be seen. Jared laughed aloud at how many times people passed him and swore he was talking to himself. When he looked over he could see her but they could not.
“Do you know how long I have been here?” Josephine had asked him.
“We think almost two years.” He had told her.
“We?” she asked.
“My friend Max helped me find you in the missing person’s data base.” Jared explained. “He thinks I am crazy because I thought I saw a ghost.”
“So I am dead? They found my body?” Josephine asked sadly.
“No I haven’t found your body….Wait you don’t know if you are dead?”
Josephine replied. “No I can’t tell if I am or not. I never have seen any bright light or anything. I’m just here. I feel connected to something. I just don’t what.”
“I thought you would know how you….Why don’t you have shoes?” Jared asked.
“I do remember that.” Josephine laughed. It was a pretty sound almost magical Jared thought as he heard it flow from her lips. “I loved to walk across the grass in this park bare foot.”
“Ok you do know about crack pipes and needles right?” Jared said.
“That was when I had a body Jared. Now it really doesn’t matter does it?”
“I guess not. Have you ever tried to remember what happened to you?” He asked her quietly. If it was something traumatic he wanted to bring it up gently.
“I have but all I feel is like my head hurts. It hurts so badly then I see darkness. There is nothing but pitch black.”
“Maybe it happened here in the park?” Jared suggested.
“No I came here…No one could see me, no one could hear me and at first I was so confused and no matter how much I tried no one could help me. I came to the park because it was the only place I remembered being happy.” As Josephine explained his heart went out to the woman who was so alone.
“How old are you Jared?” Josephine asked. “Do you know how old I am?”
“I’m thirty and when you went missing you were twenty two. So you are almost twenty four now.” Jared had looked at his watch then and saw it was well after eleven. “Its late I have to go Josephine. But I will be back tomorrow, I promise. Hopefully I will know some more.”
“Ok Jared.” He voice was sad as she turned to walk back in to the park.
“Hey, don’t worry, I’ll be back.” He assured her.
“I know. Good night Jared.” With a wisp of a breeze she was gone.
Jared had slowly walked back to the entrance of the park that led to his street. Now he lay in bed with his eyes close thinking of Josephine. He had figured out that she was lonely. That he was basically the first conversation she had with any one in a long time. He should have stayed with her longer so she would not feel so alone. Shit! He cursed himself for his stupidity. There was a small breeze that blew the drapes in his bed room. Jared lazily opened his eyes and saw her standing by his window.
“What the…!” he almost fell out of bed in his surprise. “How did you get in here? What am I asking? You are a ghost, you can get in any where. I thought you couldn’t leave the park.”
“I never said that.” She teased. “I said that I went there because it was the only place I remembered being happy. I followed you here.”
“Great a ghost with a sense of humor.” Jared muttered. “You could of told me.”
“Can I stay here with you? The park is nice but I miss being around people.” Josephine explained.
“Uh… sure I guess so, I mean you won’t be eating all my food.” Jared joked.
“I miss food to!” she said excitedly and sat on his bed. “I see people eating hot dogs and pretzels. And I wish I could have one. Can I sleep here with you?”
Jared looked at where she was setting, he knew she was there but her body did not even make a dent in the soft mattress. The timid question and Jared’s eyes flew to her face. Without a second thought he pulled back the covers in invitation.
“Sure, you can sleep here with me.” He replied. She needed a connection and he would not refuse her that.
“Her smile was shy as she slipped between the covers. “Thank you. I get so cold in the park.”
Jared was amazed that her body made a form under the blanket and he could feel her against him as she curved her body next to his. She was not solid by know means but it was like an energy that he could feel. There or not, he could smell the light scent of her, he felt desire curl inside his belly. Jesus now he was attracted to a ghost he thought. They fell asleep that way, with her curved against his body. All the things he thought he knew about ghost was being proved wrong. She slept and even murmured in her sleep.
In the morning she woke up and roamed his apartment. Looking at everything as if it was new to her, chattering a mile a minute as he made breakfast. She sat next to him and asked him how his juice, eggs and toast tasted. She wanted details and closed her eyes as if she could taste them herself as he explained. There was a knock on the door and Max strode in without waiting for an invitation to enter from the other side of the door. He saw Jared sitting eating breakfast on the sofa with the TV blaring GMA.
“Hey buddy, I bought some donuts to go along with those eggs.” Max said jovially as he walked in. “Got any coffee? I think I got some more info on your Josephine.”
Jared turned looked as if someone was next to him and nodded. Then he looked at Max once again.
“What are you looking at buddy? Max asked curiously. “Why are you nodding like a bobble head?”
“Tell me what the donuts taste like.” Max right?” The voice came from behind him and Max turned and dropped the bag that held the sweet pastries.
“Jesus H Macy!” Max yelped and staggered back towards the center of the room.
“Max meet Josephine our ghost from the park.” Jared said, he was laughing and wiping his mouth.
“Get the hell out of here! She is real! She is god damn real!” Max exclaimed.
“Yup, now if I am crazy, you are to Maxwell.” Jared smirked.
“Hey,” Max warned pointing at him. “You want a beating.”
“Maxwell is a lovely name.” Josephine soothed. She walked over to stand next to Jared.
“And that came from a ghost.” Jared said approvingly.
“That is the information I had for you Jared.” Max said. He was slowly getting over the initial shock of seeing the apparition known as Josephine in Jared’s apartment. “She may not be a ghost. There is no Jane Doe’s matching her description in the police files. Not in the last two years.”
“What do you mean?” Jared said in confusion.
“I might not be dead?” Josephine asked. Did she dare hope for this miracle?
“Nope,” Max said smugly. “What we have here might just be a case of her spirit being out of her body. I am thinking that she got hurt and had a near death experience. She got lost and forgot where her body is. She is probably lying somewhere in a coma. Find the body and the spirit can go back.”
Max words left them reeling. Find the body and she could go back. Could it be really that easy?

Interview with Missy Lyons

Well it's Friday one again whew it's 2007 and we have already gone through a week. But like every Friday here is another interview... Read and enjoy!!

1.Kelly: Missy Tell us how long you have been writing and what got you into writing romance?

Missy: It feels like I have been writing forever. I really started writing for the fun of it when I was about 13. My father encouraged me to write and many teachers told me I had a gift for it. Then as I grew older I focused on other things in my life. I got married. I got a job, and a house. As much as I enjoyed writing, I never thought I could make it into a career. It’s funny how we always come back to what we love doing though.
I started writing again when I was on a waiting list to get into nursing school. The year long wait was agonizing, so I began to write to soothe my soul. As for why I write romance, romance seems so natural to me. We all are looking for a special someone who we can share our lives with. Why not the characters in my stories too? It was not long before I found my local RWA group and began attending the meetings regularly.

2. Kelly: Your first book out is called Naughty or Nice. Tell us about it.

Missy: Well, Naughty or Nice is a little holiday romance I dreamed up, shortly before Christmas. I wanted to write a story that would be fun to snuggle up with in front of a warm fire to warm your heart. Here is a little bit about it.
Jenna Peterson is a little wild, and never turns down a dare. She sat on Santa’s lap, but it wasn’t to see what she was getting for Christmas. When she pulled down his beard and saw how cute he was, she couldn’t resist a kiss.
When Scott signed up to be the local mall Santa, he never expected to have two hot girls sit on his lap or one to capture his heart. Scott soon found out that earning Jenna’s trust wasn’t as easy as he thought. She seemed determined to stay on Santa’s naughty list.

3. Kelly: I have read Naughty or Nice and your love scenes are hot! Do you find you have problems keeping your love scenes fresh and exciting?

Missy: Not yet. Each character is unique. Their personality and moods play a role in how the scene plays out. If they are shy and inexperienced, they ask a lot of questions. If they have not seen their lover in three years, they savor the moment alone together, worshipping their lover’s body as they would a temple. Taking every moment slowly to make the memories last. Sometimes the characters are hot and heavy and they are so drawn together the sex scene is sizzling. Emotions play a big part in the characters sex lives.

4. Kelly: What else is coming from Missy Lyons in 2007?

Missy: I have two contracted works
*Bound By Desire *is a BDSM love story coming out from Phaze in the summer of 2007. Here is a little bit about it:
Denise is a woman whose personality has always come across as an A type of personality so she has been attracting men that are the exact opposite. Men who are shy and not very confident. Men that just ask to be dominated. She has always wondered what it would be like to be dominated in the bedroom. Just once she intended on finding out. She received an invitation to play at a BDSM party. She attends the party disguised, and dressed as a sub.

*Closing the Deal* is a contemporary romance, and it will be released this April from Phaze. Here is a little something about it:
Revenge is a powerful motivator. After the millionaire playboy Bruce Withers told his lawyer Dian Wright that he expected her to sleep with him or lose her job she vowed revenge no matter what the cost. She flew to Nashville to close the real estate deal he wanted in an attempt to get her job back or teach him a lesson in manners, only to meet the sexy twin heirs. She was drawn to them both with an unexplainable primal attraction that caused a little chaos, the opportunity for adventure, and the chance for revenge.
*Blood Ties* is not under contract and it is a vampire revenge story.
Priscilla Dupris had waited 229 years for her revenge and tonight was the night. Tonight would be the night that her maker was destined to die. He had wooed her and kissed her, and in her innocence she had offered her neck to him. He took that offering and so much more. He took away her innocence.
He gave her his blood in return and then mysteriously left her to die in the sun. Why would he do something so evil? Priscilla didn’t care why anymore. All she cared about now was that she finally had the opportunity to have her revenge on the man that made her what she was today.
I have seven other stories I hope to get written this year, but it will be a while before they are submitted

5. Kelly: I know Missy Lyons is your pen name any story behind how you got it?

Missy: At first I was not even planning on using a pen name. I am proud of my work and enjoy sharing it with others. However, when I read my first stalker story about another author, things changed, and I decided a little privacy may be a necessary evil.
Missy has been a nickname of mine since I was a child. I wanted to use something that I would be able to hear and would automatically turn around if someone said my name in a strange place like when I am signing books for instance. Lyons is English and I have always had a fascination with cats, so the choice was natural for me. Missy Lyons just sounded so natural it just fit me.

6. Kelly: Where can readers find your book and find out more about you?

Missy: Naughty or Nice is now available at:
http://www.mardigraspublishing.com/naughtyornice.html

I have a personal website you can visit at www.missylyons.com.
If you are an author as well I have just established a blog called The Writer’s Corner. I hope it will be a place where we can share writing wisdom with each other. I also hope to hear from upcoming authors and useful information to know in the publishing industry. Here is the address: http://writingwisdom.blogspot.com/

7. Kelly: Tell me what is your favorite body part on a guy?

Missy: Oh my! With so many parts to choose from that is a hard one!
My favorite part to look at would definitely be a man’s bared chest. My favorite part to tease is a man’s neck. It is a very sensitive and erogenous zone, for a place that doesn’t seem sexual.

8. Kelly: What is your inspiration for writing?

Missy: I swear it is the voices that told me to do it! I can’t fully explain where the voices come from, but once they are in my head they can tell you all about their life story and what has happened to them. I would like to say it is real life or something else that triggers the story, but they are something that evolves over time.
Sometimes it might be one sentence that starts it. Or one word, like immortal. What was it like to be an immortal? Was the idea that triggered my Blood Ties book. From there I explore each characters personality and their motivation. Why are they acting like they are? What do they want from life right now?

9. Kelly: Where will readers be seeing you chatting in 2007?

Missy: I try to participate on the Mardi Gras yahoo group at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mardigraspublishing/

You will also see me on the Phaze yahoo group:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PhazeChatters/

I have an author day scheduled on April 6 at:

I also have a personal yahoo group that discusses upcoming events as they happen: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/missylyons/, and if you have a myspace account you can be my friend at http://www.myspace.com/missy_lyons

10. Kelly: I like to ask this question. (smile). Naughty or Nice is turned into a movie who would be playing the roles of your characters?

Missy: Kate Beckensale from Underworld and Johnny Depp. Hey a girl can dream right?

11. Kelly: Missy what would you want your readers to know most about you?

Missy: I am just as down to earth as everyone else. I am just a country girl trying to make it in the big city. I have a family, with one adorable little girl. I have been married over ten years to the same man and count my blessings everyday.
I was born in Santa Maria California and I was a one of four girls. I spent my summers catching lizards and chasing after snakes, climbing trees and swimming at the beach.
I love to hear from my readers and you can contact me from my website. www.missylyons.com

12. What kind of advice would you give to people that want to become writers too?

Missy: You become a writer by writing, so do it everyday. Don’t stop if someone naysays what you are doing. You become better by practicing. Each story I write is becoming better written as I learn more about the craft.

That Guys and Dolls was the new and upcoming author Missy Lyons. Her book Naughty or Nice is a steamy look into what Christmas can really be like between two new lovers. Trust me I read the book and it is Hot!!
See you next week luvvies where the interview will be with Ayn Amorelli.

And now to Apparition!!

Jared had spent the rest of the night thinking about his encounter. The party broke up around one thirty in the morning and Jared considered walking back through the park. He wanted to go back to the spot where she disappeared to see if she would be there once again. But one am in the morning in Central park, common sense eventually ruled out his curiosity. He definitely did not want to become a mugging victim or the city’s newest unknown murder. Then they both would be in the same boat, dead in the park.
Now Jared sat behind his desk at the shelter, the dawn of a new day. He watched as his friend Max wiped the tears from his eyes after Jared recounted exactly what he had seen.
“You finished?” Jared asked as Max’s laughter faded into a sigh.
“For now unless you are ready to tell me you saw the Easter bunny in the park as well.” Max’s voice was filled with mirth.
Maxwell Moore, Max for short. Anyone one else who called him otherwise would get a fist in the mouth. He and Jared had been friends since childhood and even then anyone who dared called the big man Maxwell was in for a beating. When Jared had came to him with the idea of opening the shelters and asked him for help. Max agreed without a second thought. He lived on the other side of the tracks. Unlike Jared Max had to learn the streets to survive from one day to the next. Now as he sat across from his long time friend, he thought Jared was finally cracking up.
“I’m serious Max, I saw the girl. She needs help and I have to help her.” Jared replied.
“What could she possible need help for Jared? Now if you saw her which I am skeptical to believe. She seems pretty much out of existence.” Max concluded.
“Maybe she needs help to find her killer.” Jared shot the theory out into the room and Max raised his eyebrow at his friend.
Jared sighed. “Listen Max you know I am a rational man and I don’t believe in a lot of stuff. "But this I did see. Now I need for you to get on that computer you are always on and find me a missing person’s report matching her.”
“Fine, but how am I supposed to find her between all the people that go missing in this city every year?” Max asked. “For all we know she has been in the park for years. If I believe you saw a ghost. I’m leaning towards heat stroke induced by wearing a tux and walking.”
“Her dress is one of these new styled things with the halter top.” Jared replied.
“You need a date bad buddy if you are sizing up a ghost.” Max laughed.
“Max.” Jared said in a warning tone. “Just get me some pictures to look at on the computer and we’ll go from there.”
“Gotcha.” Max said. He started to click away on the laptop on the desk. “Oh by the way those kids you sent in are downstairs.”
“Good they came in.” Jared said approvingly. He was afraid they would not have gone to the shelter. “They settle in ok?”
“Yeah, the boy is pretty protective of his sister. I got Claudia to talk with her. She is thinking rape or molestation. But she is going to take it slow with her.” Max explained. “Here I got some missing person’s files from the database going back tow years. If your ghost is not in there, then we’ll go back further.”
“Great thanks.” Jared turned the computer to him enthusiastically. Hoping the face of his ghost was on the first page. “And make sure you keep an eye on the girl and her bother. They might need a little more help than some of the others.”
“I will, but I am not leaving this office until I prove your crazy.” Max said he leaned back in the chair to put his foot up on the desk.
“You won’t have to wait long buddy because there she is.” Jared stated it smugly. He turned the computer to face Max and tapped the screen. "Here on the third page. That’s the girl I saw.”
“You’re kidding! Max was amazed that he actually found the face. “Her name is Josephine Coulter. She has been missing for a year and a half. Twenty-two and last seen in Central Park. Well pinch my tits.”
Jared laughed. “I would but you are not my type.”
“What are you going to do now Jared? and you wish you could have me buddy..all the girls love my chest."
“First I’m going back to the park tonight and see if she appears again. If she does, I’ll know I’m not crazy and work from there.” Jared told Max his plan.
“Need me to go with?” Max asked.
“Nope, but thanks.” Jared replied. He knew this was his little private mission for now.
He was on pins and needles all day and in the evening. Jared wanted to get back to the park and concentrating on anything else was a very hard thing to do. By eight o’ clock that night he was stepping out of his apartment and crossing the street into Central Park. Dressed in a pair of jeans and blue t-shirt, the weather felt ten times better than the night before in a tux. Jared walked quickly to the spot where he had last saw his ghost. When had he started to refer to her as his he thought to himself? He stood in the exact spot and looked around. The air seem still in this area and it was eerily quiet.
“Hey, um are you here?” Jared felt a little stupid talking to no one. Especially when two runners passed and looked him as if he was a banana short of a bunch.
“Come on,” he coaxed. “I won’t hurt you, just show yourself please. I’m here to help.” Jared was about to give up when a breeze passed him and whipped up the leaves on the ground. He turned and there she stood, no shoes and the same said eyes.
“Find me, help me please.” She said her voice like a whisper.
“I have, at least I think I have.” He led out a hand to her. “Are you Josephine, is that you name?”
She looked at him for a moment and then it seemed as if she was thinking. Her face brightened and to Jared it was as if the sun had came out on the darkened path.
This time instead of stepping away the ghost pleading for help stepped forward. “Yes, yes! I think I am Josephine! That is my name! Can you help me?’
Jared smiled, a smile that was both relief and happiness. “Josephine I’ll do my damn best to help you.”
Josephine smiled a radiant smile. “Help me to remember?”
“I will, I definitely will.” Jared replied. His hand was still reaching out to her and she put her hand in his. Even though there was no flesh and bone to touch Jared still felt the connection. The quest to find Josephine had begun.

Want more come back next week Luvvies!

Interview with the *Siren Of Seduction* Sabrina Luna

Dahlia: Tell us how long you have been writing Sabrina?

Sabrina: I’ve been writing since 1997, but it wasn’t until 2006 that things started to happen for me…good things! I can’t wait to see what 2007 has in store either!

Dahlia: Tell us about Crimson Ambrosia?

Sabrina:I’m so excited that CRIMSON AMBROSIA has been getting some good reviews! It’s about a male vampire who fondly recalls his male lover, a handsome gypsy lad one evening while drinking a bottle of his special wine…crimson ambrosia. The tale is about their night of dangerous passion. I really love this story! Honestly, I believe it’s one of my personal favorite writings, so far.

Dahlia:I love the title of your book Crimson Heart. What was the inspiration behind it and tell us about the plot

Sabrina: CRIMSON HEART takes place in the same vampire world that I created for CRIMSON AMBROSIA. There is a common thread, which I’d like to write more about in the near future. However, both of these stories are complete tales themselves.

CRIMSON HEART is about a young, aristocratic Russian woman and her vampire lover. It’s a bittersweet, but erotic little love story. That’s why I call it ‘dark’. If you want to know more, you’ll have to read my tale!

Dahlia: What else is coming from Sabrina Luna in 2007?

Sabrina: I have two spicy erotic romances coming at Mardi Gras Publishing. VELVET SEDUCTION and HOT PURSUIT are both contemporary stories that take place in the small Southern town of Mount Hill. Both stories were such fun for me to write and I hope readers will enjoy them too!

At Aphrodite’s Apples Press, I have two short stories and one novella slated for 2007. The first short story is ENCHANTED CHAMBER and will be in the PANTHEON anthology. It’s a magickal little erotic romance story set in 1936 Egypt. The second story is PLAYTOY FOR THE GODS and is a M/M BDSM Fantasy. It will be in one of their upcoming MASCQUERADE anthologies, which have been very successful this past year. And, finally, the novella is CHARADE. It’s a D/s Erotica Fantasy of a young woman exploring the world of domination and submission with a devilishly handsome man, who assists with her sexual ‘awakening’.

Dahlia: Where can reader go to find about more about you?

SabrinaI have a homepage, several blogs, a MySpace profile and an online newsletter.

Yahoo online newsletter: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sabrinalunaauthornews

Dahlia: Where can readers find your book?

Sabrina: My titles can be found at Mardi Gras Publishing http://www.mardigraspublishing.com
Or Aphrodite’s Apples at
http://www.aphroditesapples.com

Dahlia: If a fan wanted to send you an email. Where could they reach you?

Sabrina: I can be reached thru my MySpace profile or thebellaluna@yahoo.com

Dahlia: What is your inspiration for writing? Do you just wake up in the morning with an idea and let it flow from there?

Sabrina:I’ve always been an avid reader—a bookworm for sure, so writing or telling my own stories has always appealed to me. Some times the inspiration for a story comes really quick and I write the story from there. Other times, it’s more planned and thought out. I’m a Gemini, so I go from one method to the other in the blink of an eye. LOL! But, always, there is a method to my madness…the end result which is a good story.

Dahlia: Do you have any chats or appearances scheduled? If so tell us where we will be seeing you?

Sabrina: Next year’s looking fairly busy! Every Monday morning, I post in my blogs my weekly chat schedule. If you wanna keep up with me, that’s the best place to look. Heck, I even have to look there myself ‘cause I don’t know if I’m coming or going lately! LOL!

I’m also making plans to attend two conventions in 2007. The first one is EPICon March 8-11th in Virginia Beach VA and the other one is Dragon*Con on Labor Day weekend in Atlanta GA. Details for both will be posted soon in my blogs and on my website.

Dahlia: If some movie producer ever wanted to turn your book into a movie. Who could you see playing the roles of your characters in Hollywood in Crimson Ambrosia?

Sabrina:In CRIMSON AMBROSIA, I’d cast Antonio Banderas as Silas Elmagus, the vampire and Orlando Bloom as Ivan, the young gypsy. Honestly, I’ve had Antonio in mind for many years, since I wrote this tale a while back. However, Orlando would make an awesome Ivan, I think.

Dahlia: Before you go, is there anything you would like readers to know?

Sabrina: I’m also a member of the Romance Writers of America and my local chapter, the Carolina Romance Writers. I take my writing craft seriously and I’m working everyday to improve my storytelling abilities. I believe the old saying is true and I try to learn something new each day. Hopefully, one day, it will pay off.

That was my interview of the siren of seduction Sabrina Luna. This petite sensual fairy will wrap you in a cocoon with her words and send you to a realm where vampires roam.

Apparittion.....Part 2

“Damn it!” Jared muttered to himself. Where was that damn limo? It was supposed to be there fifteen minutes ago. Jared didn’t want to have to deal with one of his father’s lectures about punctuality, but as he was late he knew he would hear it. Being the son of Dominic and Natalie Cross had it pits falls. At thirty he was one of the most eligible bachelors in NY. Living on the east side of Manhattan in a loft wasn’t so bad to say the least. But Jared did not need his father’s money to survive, he need it for his two projects to survive. He ran two shelters for teenage runaways living on the streets in the city. Instead of sleeping on corners and being forced into prostitution and drug habits. Jared gave them a warm bed, food, a roof over their heads and offered other opportunities for the forgotten of the world. So if he had to listen to his fathers lectures to ensure a handsome donation to his shelter’s he sit and button his lips.
Shit! The word was spit out of him. He decided then and there it would better to go through Central Park to get to his parents. The lived not to far from one of the many exits of the park. He’d just hop in a cab on the other side and zip to their place. Dressed in a dark tuxedo that accentuated his large frame Jared crossed the street and headed into the park. He liked this idea better anyway of walking anyway, That way if he ran into any kids looking for a safe place to sleep, he could give them a card and directions to the shelter. Jared walked in front the traffic that was almost to a complete stop, he moved quickly. He smiled knowing that in New York when the traffic is read to move, you had better be not standing in front of it.
Shadows were already beginning to form from the setting sun. The trees made a canopy of shade and Jared walked through the park unafraid. He was six two and with long brown hair falling down his back he looked more like a sexy biker that the son of a shipping baron. It was just after Labor Day and the city still had a little humidity from the summer left. In a tux it was hell on wheels and Jared could feel droplets of sweat starting to run down his back. Sitting on a bench were two teens as he passed. He could tell by the wariness in their eyes that they were homeless. Jared knew the routine sit in the park like if you are just relaxing until it was safe from cops chasing them away. The twosome would try to find a place to sleep for the night. The next day the process would begin all over again. Jared hated to see it. But in New York kids like these were looked over. His aim was to do something about it.
“Hey guys, you looking for a roof and a meal? He stopped and asked.
“Listen asshole, we don’t do shit like that. Shove off!” the boy stood up with his fist balled just in case he had to defend him and his companion.
“Whoa calm down kid. I run a shelter. You and your girlfriend could stay there.” Jared replied. His hands were up to show the kid he meant no harm.
“She is not my girlfriend, she is my sister.” The girl did not even look up. She seemed withdrawn and scared. Her body language, her silence was the classic signs of brutality.
Making a mental not about getting counseling for her, he reached in his pocket and pulled out a card. “Look, go to the “Safe Harbor Shelter. It’s off Columbus Circle. That’s my place, ask for Max and tell him I sent you.”
“This ain’t no bullshit right?” The boy asked warily.
“No you guys will be safe there and as long as you follow the rules you can stay as long as you like.” Jared assured him.
The boy took the card and helped his sister from the bench and Jared watched them walk off. He call Max later to see if they got there and to sent up someone to talk to the girl. He looked at his watch again, he was over an hour late. “Damn it!” He said to himself and walked quickly lost in his own thoughts. Jared noticed his surroundings a few minutes later. He had been walking and not paying attention to where he was going, He was sure he made a wrong turn somewhere because this was not where he needed to be. Cursing softly to himself he turned on the smaller path to head back in the direction he came from. How in the hell did he end up in one of the bike trails? The part of the park the lanes were smaller and carried more dense bushes. Out of the corner of his eye Jared swore he saw a wisp of blue. The hair on the back of his neck stood on end and he turned quickly to confront who ever was behind him. There she stood dressed in a blue with bare feet. Her black straight hair blue gently but there was no breeze, everything seemed to go still. She could be no more than nineteen, her eyes were sad and Jared felt an instant amount of concern that over rid the wariness.
He took slow careful steps towards the small woman and reached out his hand talking softly to her. “Hi, are ok? Do you need help?”
Her response was to turn and run deeper into the wooded path. “Hey!” Jared called after her and followed. She moved quickly for a woman with no shoes on. She stooped suddenly and faced him once again.
Jared skidded to a halt. “Lady why did you run? If you need help, let me take you to the police or a hospital.”
The woman in blue stared at him with the sad brown eyes. This time it was her who reached out her hand to him. Jared stepped forward to take it but she steeped back .
“Help me.” She whispered. “Find me.”
“Find you?” Jared asked. “You’re right here, I found you al…….”
Jared words stopped as he watched the woman fade from his sight, her out stretched hand was the last thing to disappear. With his mouth gaping open Jared stared at the spot where she stood a few seconds before. What the fuck! This was not possible he thought wildly. She could not just disappear! Jared looked around expecting to see her standing somewhere else, but there was nothing she was gone. Jared walked away slowly looking back over and over again to where she last stood. His mind was having trouble comprehending what he knew he had just saw and talked to a ghost.
“Jesus Christ this had been an odd day.” He muttered. He found his usual path thought Central park and got to his parents building over an hour and a half later that he was supposed to be there. He kissed his mother’s check dutifully and even managed to smiles as she winked thought his father’s lecture about him wasting his life. But his mind was somewhere else. It was on the park and what he saw. She needed help, she needed someone to find her. Find her what? Her body, her killer? Jared didn’t know but by the end of the night, he knew he was going to find out.

Interview with H. Renay Anderson

I had the pleasure of talking with author H. Renay Anderson about her new book release. She is a shy but sweet person, who's personalty comes out in her writing. This is what Renay had to say***

Kelly: Tell us how long you have been writing Renay?

Renay: I have been writing since I was a little girl. I was and I am still a very quite person. Not shy at all, but I express myself best through my writing. My first published work was released in 1996. It was a book of poetry that I self-published. The title was ‘Four Generations Deep’

Kelly: I know this is the second time your book has been released. Tell us did you add anything new to it any more spicy love scenes?

Renay: Yes Ma‘am! I have learned a lot since 2003. That is when it was released the first time. I know it is my book, but I still get chills reading about Valerie and Mitchell’s hot tub scene!

Kelly: I love the title of your book. What was the inspiration behind your book? Tell us more about it.

Renay: This part of the title 'Why Women Wear Shoes They Know Will Eventually Hurt Their Feet' came to me before one word of the book was ever typed on the keyboard. One day I was walking in a pair of shoes that had not quite been broken in yet. The shoes were too tight when I bought them, but were the latest style and all my friends had a pair. When I thought about it I knew when I bought them that the first time I wore them they would hurt my feet. Yet, I talked myself into it by thinking I would break them in by the end of the night if I wore them long enough. Sometimes women pick men for the same reasons. They want a man who is cute, popular, or financially well-off. These women over-look bad habits if he has them or his excuses for not committing. They hope to break him in someday.

The 'After Party' part of the title is just my way of saying that sometimes we spend so much time preparing for big events like social dances and parties that we miss the point of why the party is being given in the first place. We buy new dresses and shoes then end up spending the whole night uncomfortable and bored. Not until we leave to go home or we go somewhere else where we can relax and take off our shoes do we end up having a good time.

Kelly: What else is coming from H. Renay Anderson in 2007?

Renay: I am glad you asked! This has been a great year for me. In August of 2006 I had a short story published in the book ‘Chicken Soup for the African American Woman’s Soul’. The title is ‘Walking the Lessons of Life’. Next my first book ‘The After Party…’was re-released by Mardigras Publishing in November of 2006. Then I had another story accepted in the book ‘How I Met My Sweetheart’ by Amani Publishing. It will be released in February 2007. In addition I had a poem accepted for the upcoming 2007 release of ‘Gumbo for The Soul: The Recipe for Literacy in the Black Community’ Anthology #1.

Kelly: Where can readers go to find about more about you?

Renay: My personal website can be found by going to http://clix.to/renay or they can just type in H. Renay Anderson in google.com, ask.com or any search engine.

Kelly: Where can readers find your book?

Renay: Right now it being sold at Mardigraspublishing.com and Fictionwise.com

Kelly: If a fan wanted to send you an email. Where could they reach you?

Renay: My email address is renay6331@yahoo.com

Kelly: What is your inspiration for writing?

Renay: Life or should I say the lives of folks I love

Kelly: Do you have any chats or appearances scheduled? If so tell us where we will be seeing you?

Renay: The After Party …’ was jusr released. I am busy promoting it now and working hard to get somethings scheduled. Please visit my website for updates on my scheduled chats and appearances.

Kelly :One fan wrote your book was inspirational and it should be turned into a movie. Who could you see playing the roles of your characters in Hollywood?

Renay: Valerie is a good Mom and works really hard to take care of her sons. Yet, she is also using work as a shield to keep her from falling in love again. I can easily say that has been me at one or more times in my life. I could see Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls)playing that role.

Kelly: I myself find your book inspiring. Being a single mother and dating it hit close to home. You and your children are a package. I was lucky enough to find a man who loved us all. Tell me Renay is there a personal experience behind your book?

Renay: Some parts of my book are from personal experience. The majority of it is not.
I too have been smart enough to only consider someone who thought of me and my children as a complete package.

Kelly: Before you go, is there anything you would like the readers to know?

Renay: Yes, I want the readers to know that the chapters in my book contain fictional situations, but I am telling the story based on real life and the hard lessons I and other women I know have learned. The readers will absorb the text on every page of this book and linger on the last page pining for more! I can't wait to see what happens next to Valeria and April myself!

That was my interview of the wonderful writer H. Renay Anderson. This inspiring author will have you caught into every word of her book. 2007 look out for her! She will be taking the writing world by storm.
